Once upon a time on our college campus, my friends and I realized something was missing—there wasn't an easy way to find people to do stuff with, whether its pickup basketball or late-night poker. That's when we created Mutuals. Just drop in what you love to do and when you're free, and every Thursday, our algorithm works its magic to connect you with a group that matches your vibe.
Big Apple Bunkdowns
This research project undertakes a comprehensive examination of Airbnb listings in New York City to establish a safety index by correlating them with NYPD crime statistics. Through data mining techniques, we identified patterns and correlations between crime rates and Airbnb locations. Using these results, accompanied with previous residents’ experiences, we provided a safety score to each Airbnb listing.
